Inspired Locations for Creative Play

The Intramersive team loves getting a unique request and thrives with a challenge. Since 2017 we have designed 7 unique games for various organizations and as a way to keep our team working during Covid.

Design documents available upon request.

HAwthorne Moon & Blackthorne Winter

These games were a blend of larp, escape rooms, and high fantasy immersive theater. Designed for 40 - 60 players these games engaged the full campus of both the Peirce Farm at Witch Hill and the Jeremiah Lee Mansion.

The Magical Help Desk and MHD: Tactical Field Teams

These two zoom larps were designed by a unique team of writers in the first few weeks of the Covid shut down. These two games, where players played customer service representatives on their first day at the Magical Help Desk, were hugely successful pivots to online games.

Runo in the Rock

This very personal game was at the request of the Cape Ann Museum as a way of celebrating and spotlighting the unique history of the Lanesville Finns.
We collected both the local lore of this tightknit closed community and explored the Kalevala. This one night only game was a special way to thank a community that has been so welcoming and supportive of us.

Shadows of the season

As we were cautiously coming out of quaratine this small game of about a dozen people with a flexible cast drew upon the ancient tradition of telling ghost stories at the Winter Solstice. This enchanting game about deciding which souls have earned their rest premiered at the Chagall Performing Arts Collaborative and was performed again at the Peirce Farm at Witch Hill.

Full Winds In HEr Top Sails

This saucy game was designed at the request of the Real Pirates Museum in Salem MA to celebrate North Shore Pride. This show explored how democracy worked in the Pirate Republic and explored the ideas of gender and queerness through the stories of Anne Bonnie, Mary Read, and Calico Jack Rakham.
