In my role of Narrative Designer I was assigned the task of unifying the framing narrative that had been under development for a few years. Many hands had added lore, characters, artifacts, and mechanics but no one had made the framing narrative cohesive and there was no clarity on how these elements would be a playable UI that would guide players from battle to battle and progress them through the benchmarks.
